The Faculty of Humanities invites outstanding candidates to apply for tenure-track positions in Biblical Archaeology

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem invites applications for a tenure-track position (open rank) in the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies, with a specialization in the Archaeology of the Southern Levant in the Bronze and Iron Ages. The position is open to all candidates who have attained a Ph.D. degree and to advanced doctoral students who expect to be granted their Ph.D. no later than June 30, 2025.

New volume in the Qedem Monograph Series (Qedem 65): Installations and Architecture on the Western Summit of Sepphoris, by Anna Iamim.

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new volume in the Qedem Monograph Series (Qedem 65): Installations and Architecture on the Western Summit of Sepphoris, by Anna Iamim. The book provides rich new data on hewn installations (cisterns, stepped pools, storerooms, etc.) and how their relationship to the architecture, as well as modification over time, contribute to our understanding of the stratigraphy and the everyday lives of the inhabitants, from the Hellenistic to the Early Islamic periods.
