The Faculty of Humanities invites outstanding candidates to apply for tenure-track positions in Biblical Archaeology

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem invites applications for a tenure-track position (open rank) in the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies, with a specialization in the Archaeology of the Southern Levant in the Bronze and Iron Ages. The position is open to all candidates who have attained a Ph.D. degree and to advanced doctoral students who expect to be granted their Ph.D. no later than June 30, 2025.

Call for proposals - Stekelis Foundation 2018/9

Call for proposals for "The Bina and Moshe Stekelis Foundation for Prehistoric Research in Israel". 

The Department of Prehistory at the Institute of Archaeology, Hebrew University in Jersualem annouces a call for proposals to the foundation, in accordance with foundation regulations (attached below).

Submissions are due by November 30th 2018

The submission will include: 

  • a proposal
  • budget breakdown
  • CV

Decisions regarding the grants will be published no later than December 31st.
