Grants & Fellowships

Students enrolling to the department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern studies may be eligible for special grants from the Hebrew University (http://info.huji.ac.il/ShowPage.asp?cat=562).
Outstanding students of the Institute are eligible for awards and grants from the Hebrew University (http://www.huji.ac.il/huji/adm_milgot.htm), as well as the following awards made directly by the Institute:

• Muriel and Philip Berman Award (biblical archaeology students)
• Palomba Carasso Award
• Andrew and Eva Farago Award
• Roman and Tania Ghirshman Award
• Avraham and Rachel Negev Award
• Isadore Perlman Award
• Tamar and Dov Noy Award (prehistoric archaeology students; shared with the program for folklore studies)

In addition, there are occasional research and exchange awards from external contributors and foundations.
