I left my heart in Tiberias

A unique solid bronze object shaped like a small heart was found in the excavations of the ancient city of Tiberias , directed by Prof. Yizhar Hirschfeld. Totally unlike any other object found at the site or elsewhere, it was probably a weight, perhaps used to weigh small amounts of precious goods. It dates to the 10th-11th centuries CE.
