Buy your tickets to the Jewish theater

Remains of the one of the earliest Jewish theaters found in Israel were discovered by Prof. Yizhar Hirschfeld in the ancient city of Tiberias and will be completely excavated in the upcoming seasons of 2005-2006. The theater faces east, overlooking a breathtaking view of the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights and the Hermon Massif. This imposing theater measured 67 m in diameter and seated an audience of 5000, like the theaters at Beth Shean and Caesarea.
