1980 Teaching certificate, the Hofen Institute for Open and Experimental Education, Ministry of Education and Culture
1982   B.A. in Archaeology and History of the Jewish People, Hebrew University
1996 M.A., summa cum laude, in Archaeology and Art History, Hebrew University
1997- Ph.D. studies in Archaeology and Art History, Hebrew University.

The M.A. thesis: “The Relief Art of Chancel Screens in Churches and Synagogues in Palestine in the Byzantine Period: A Stylistic and Iconographic Analysis,” was supervised by Profs. Yoram Tsafrir and Elisheva Revel-Neher of the Hebrew University.
